Default zo6 cam and trailblazer ss stall

ok so im looking for a more tame and reliable combo with some power still though. so i am thinking about swaping to something alot smaller but ive never messed with anything this small so please forgive my lack of knowledge. im pretty sure im right but...i want to make sure...i just want to do the z06 cam and the trailblazer stall. i have my previous reasons....being that it still has a little power to it, but still itsnt like a drag truck. i use this truck as my daily driver so im just swaping my cam and stall to the other truck. another reason is its so cheap. correct me if im wrong but cant i get a z06 cam and springs for like $350 and the trailblazer stall for like $150? i also want something that will not be to hard on my tranny. its shifting great but its still got alot of miles on it so i want to go easy on it. any suggestions?

First off you want a trail blazer converter from an I6 if you're gonna go that route not from an SS.

Second if you're worried about breaking stuff you prolly should wait until it's not a problem.

Yeah, you're right about the prices for everything. And the TB stall is a big improvement over stock!

Yeah, I agree a healthier cam would be better. Even something like my cam is great all around.

cam

springs

a thread specifically on that cam

a thread specifically on how that cam sounds

in my opinion this cam will be a torquey sob in that 6.0 and will really help spin those tires, and i dont think you would need a higher stalling torque converter for it.

what do you mean? you think if i installed it with the stock converter it would be ok? i mean im kinda time pressed with work but if i could get away with just the cam and do the stall and transmission work later it would help alot.
