is it a denali?

or

might be just a muffler welded on like a flowmaster, and not a catback

My neighbor has a '02 5.3 Burb that sounds like my 5.3 Silverado did stock. One of his buddies has an '04 Denali and it's alot louder than a stock 5.3 truck...it sounds really good for a stock exhaust truck. Those 6.0s are quite a bit louder.

denali has different exhaust. i think the denali, escalades, and SS silverado all pretty much have the same exhaust. must be what they hook up to that 6.0

My wife's '04 Denali sounds excellent. I catch myself standing in the garage listening to the exhaust every time she leaves the house! It definitely sounds better than my VHO's stock exhaust, the only difference I can see is the Denali tip (and of course length between the CAT's and muffler). Maybe that tip (resonator?) makes the difference.
