Default New Cam installed and Im Very Impressed!!

My new cam was finished up today.... Very happy with the results... If you are in the Columbus Ga area I highly recommend going to Lee's Performance Center... or contact "cgworth" (he is a member here)... Great Bunch of guys.... Really learned alot about engines and other stuff related to them.

Now as far as performance.... This cam pulls really good at about 3500-5500

My new tune is not in yet.... and I still feel that this cam added at least 25hp..

I am going to the dyno next thursday and will post up some new numbers...

I only have one questions though.... My belt is really squeaking.... or it might be the belt tensioner Pulley..... What should i do to really find out what the problem is....

I have already put Belt conditioner on it... and it makes it worse????

Mine does the same thing and is under warranty so I'm gonna make them fix it. Is it the tensioner pulley or what. I wanna be sure they don't try to tell me I need a new belt.

Im not sure.... I mean new belt would be cheaper than a new pulley... The lady at autozone told me the pulley was likw 17.00 and the Housing was like between 30-70 dollars. you can get a new belt for like 15 or so.....

Thanks... yeah i love the highend pulll.... its a world of difference and thats without the tune...

the squeaking could be ur alternater. when you 1st start her up does she do it then, becuase that when it kicks on, right after u use ur battery to start-up, all u need is to move up alternater out more so the belt is tighter.
