I did a search and didn't find anything, do they work in our new trucks? I already have a GMS maf but I've heard the screen that comes in the stock maf's is there to straighten out the air flow which is better for the sensors to get a truer reading of air flow. The Z06 maf is 85mm and the stock truck maf is 75mm (?), the GMS maf looks like a stock maf just descreened and smoothed out. The Z06 maf is 85mm, screened and tuned for power from what I've read. Just kind of curious if any one is using one.

Yes it will work. The ZO6 and all LS6 mass airflow sensors have the same 5 pin connector that the truck has and is 85mm like the trucks. There are a couple of guys that I know of that run them. As far as the screen, GM stopped putting them in in the 2002+ LS6's.

Yes, they are the same meter, even have same number stamped on them.
No performance gains unless yours is going bad.
I though mine was going bad and I had a friend with a new Z06 meter so I put it in my truck. No difference.
