Default Z06 Injectors

My buddy is getting ready to upgrade the injectors in his Z06. Are his stock ones any better than the truck injectors? Are they even the same style injector? Should I try to take them off of his hands?

The stock Z06 flow more than the truck ones, but not by a ton. The Z06 are about 28lbs/hr.

They won't work without mods to your fuel rail. His are shorter and have a different plug.

If you need a set, go with a set of Bosch design III injectors for your application. The fuel rail will need to be shimmed about 5/8" and you will have to splice in the correct plug ends. A PITA if you don't need the extra flow.

Thanks for the info. I don't need the extra flow now, but I thought that I might if I decided to spray it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'd say a 100 shot dry or less and the stock injectors will be fine. I'd be more worried about the fuel pump before the injectors going static.
