You purchase the smaller V8 engine in the heaviest cab configuration and you're surprised it's slow... did you bother to test drive?

4.56 gears, a 3600 stall, a tsp220 or tr220 cam and the rest of the bolt ons will make u a lot happier! Then a good custom tune and u will once again blow your tires off! Good luck man!

Dont do this. If you want 12s, forced induction is the best bang for the buck. Even going to a stock ly6 would be a much, much better option than running a large cam/converter in a 4.8. You are about to open a huge can of worms trying to put a cc with a 4.8 in the 12s running natrually aspirated.

If you want a dependable truck, that is fun to drive, tune/converter is the way to go. It will be a night and day difference.

You want 12s in a 4.8L crewcab? Hmmmm
You need spray forced induction or a bigger motor to get 12s in a 2010 crewcab.
Solid build to get you there....
Isky triple twelve cam contact stock4.8
Circle d 3400 stall
4.10s
Trick turbo kit stage 3.
Fuel system to support big power.
Custom tune
Weight reduction
