Question 2004 Chevy???????????????????????????????????

Which would rather have a Chevy 2004 r/c s/b 4.8 standard, or a 2004 r/c s/b 5.3 auto. Which is faster, heavier, ect......

5.3 auto.
That is what I would have gotten had they had one on the lot.
there is no wieght diffrence between the two really unless you get a stepside or a fleetside.
the 5.3 is gonna have a bit more HP and TQ

If you plan on droipping a 6.0 and t-56 in it .. then get the standard, if you want to stay with the AUTO, then get the 5.3. The standard in these trucks is not performance oriented at all.

Definitely 5.3L with an auto, with a little time and effort you can make that auto launch like a raped ape!

Default The 2005 with the L33.....

... 5.3, 310 HP aluminum block & e-fans. A Michigan plant is supposed to pour the gen IV precision sand cast aluminum V8 in September. They may not be the sole source. It has a cast iron sleeves. You will be so mad if you don't wait. I WILL trade my 03 in on it.
