Yet another TBSS intake question

I can definitely see that. The 78 has a lot of material surrounding the blade...the 90 has less.

that is for the map sensor. It is on the back side of our intakes. you can either get in extension harness, or you can just open up the harness and pull some of the wire out because there is more than enough wire. That's what I did. In Post #2 in the 2nd pic, you can see the sensor and the wires renning to it.

Intake swap is done, Wheatley is working on the Tune update...X-link was not configured for the TB, but that was an easy fix. Drilled a hole in the back of K&N filter tube and made a few brass fittings work and routed the right side breather to it.(hose was long enough) and ran a two foot length of 5/16th fuel vapor hose to the purge solenoid. X-Link is ziptied to the fuel rail. 42# marine injectors were a perfect fit (rectangle fuel rails). And the intake hose fit just fine. Cool thing about the K&N is I could adjust for the different angle of the throttle body. Swap was worth the money in my opinion.

You bet!
Power gain is noticeable. Next is to see what (if any) gains I get in the 1/4.
I picked up some better wheels and tires as well (275/55/20) so we will see how traction will be. I would have loved to go with a 285/50, but on island gotta get what is available.
