Default yet another exhaust thread

Hey guys, ya'll know I got the new Z71 and am starting from scratch here. Been trying to decide what exhaust I wanted on it, really would like Corsa, but didn't want to spend the money. Well, I found a Corsa Sport Muffler, that someone is selling, only problem is that it was on a Denali truck, so it is dual in/dual out. I am not going to run true duals back from the y-pipe like I did on the Crew Cab, but I was wondering if there would be any adverse performance or sound losses, by running the single pipe back from the y-pipe and then using a y-pipe to run duals into the dual in muffler. I know its a Z71 and I'm not going for all out performance like I did my last one, but I don't want to hurt my performance by doing something stupid, just in order to have a Corsa.

Any thoughts on this?

The Corsa mufflers are a single in and single out. Just check out their installation instructions online. The system comes with a reverse Y into the muffler and depending on the tailpipe configuration either another Y or a single pipe to a dual tip outlet.

So you may be in luck if you want to use that muffler.

Throw a 3" cutout b4 the muffler, that's what I did and I get compliments on it all the time. Plus I like still having the srock look and it was REALLY cheap.

for the best price and great sound get the imco single in single out, good tone and no resonance in the cab.

Well, got the ET streets sold today and I'm getting the Corsa Muffler. Still not real sure how I am going to set it up, but yeah, its a single in/single out. I don't want to use the stock tailpipe and I don't want to dump it.
