yes another cam question
the search button just dosent seem to like me so ill start a new thread. Im going to be doing a cam swap in a few months in my 04 RCSB 5.3. Im geeting some long tube next week and already have a homemade CAI. Any way what kind of cam do these 5.3's like? I hear its better to get a custom ground cam instead of one of the 'off the shelf fbody cams'. So question is do these engines like single pattern, split, or reverse split cams? Im also going to be putting a 75-100 wet kit on it and i may mill the heads to get a little more compression. This is my daily driver so nothing too radical but i want to be able to run mid to low 13's all motor and mid to low 12's on the nitrous. I was thinking maybe a 218/224 ~.550/.560 112lsa. what do you guys think about that cam. I know its alot of questions but any help would be appreciated
