#1
Hi I'm dusty, Long time reader first time poster!! hahahahaha
Soo I have a ecsb,HP tuners, home made cai, cherrybom vortec duals, no stall, 3.73s, and 285/70/17s and I pull 8000lbs in the summer almost every week end.
my question is, Which cam will work best? off the line I'm not worried about yet (that will be a 6.0 and 4l80 swap with 4.10s or 4.56s) just looking for experience, knowlage and any input. Thanks for any!

If you're set on one or the other, go with the 212/216, in a 6.0...
I went with the next size up comp cam, the 216/220 .525/.532 in my 5.3 and it drives basically like stock on the low end, I also put on Lt's and a full dual exhaust, so I would have lost even more low end with those... in a 6.0 I'd expect you to still most likely gain a little on the low end for your towing.
I don't see why you couldn't go all the way up to something like a tr220 or 224 and still not have a problem towing with a 6L

i would use one cam for the 5.3 then get abigger on for the 6.0.. but thats just me.. on my 5.3 i love the 217/223 549/549 113lsa i have.. best 1/8 of 8.62@80.62mph for a 6.0 i would go bigger like a 222-224 duration..
