Yank TT3000 opinions

I think the clutch on a manual car is the best description. IN nuetral, you give it gas and it doesn't go anywhere. A converter feels like halfway between in-gear and neutral (until it hits its stall speed). The benefit is when you stomp it, it spins up top higher rpms (where you are making more power) before you start moving. Loose is different to each person.
Flyer - I liked my TT3000 on my Z71, but at times it was just too loose for me as well. My TT2600 in my SS is just rught. It has the 2600 mild manners, but since I'm making more power, it stalls higher. Maybe 2800 stall. At times I wish it were bigger, but not too much. I wish I could have the WOT high stall of a 3200+ but the easy street manners of this 2600.

The amount of stall is dependant on the amount of throttle so you are not slipping at part throttle, when more throttle is applied the transmission downshifts so you only notice the stall during aggressive driving.I've had a Yank3000 for over a year and seldom notice it accept on hard launches or on a steep hill, where the truck will roll backwards unless a little throttle or brake is applied.
