Default Yank 2600 stall

I've been looking at a bunch of TCs, and was wondering how a 2600 stall would affect street drivability. What could I exspect for 1/4 mile times?

Get the Yank 3000 the drivability is excellent with good tires and a posi it can knock about .5sec off your 1/4mile time it has full towing ability and you'll kick yourself for not buying the 3000,when you feel the difference the 2600 makes.

get the yank 3000. you don't want anything less of a stall.

before yank = 15.7
after yank = 15.3

I just installed a yank 2600 and transgo shift kit last weekend. I too was worried about drivability. I'm very happy with the 2600. It drives almost like stock. After driving it a week I don't even notice it.

The truck still creeps forward when in gear just not as fast as stock. Rpm's hang around 1500-1800 or so when driving "normal". It will foot brake to around 2000rpm. I think the only time it will see "flash" to 2600 is with sticky tires from a stop.

With that said, The yank 3000 would probably also drive just as good. If I was NA or if I was planning on racing at the track more with slicks I would have went with the 3000 for sure. With the 2600 it gives my street tires a chance to hook right before the boost comes on hard.
