A few friends decided they wanted to take their DDs and trucks out to the track last night so I said sure what the hell. It was hot and nasty out, when I ran my truck at 8:45 the DA was still 4100 ft. I only got one pass as well because I didn't bring my helmet so I got the boot. LOL! It went 13.85 @ 104.4 with a whopping 2.47 60'. This thing is just a turd coming out of the hole with the stock gearing/converter and I can't hit the bottle till I am past the 60' because of it. Either way I was happy with the trap speed with the bad DA last night.

Nice times, these motors respond so well to cam swaps.

I'm excited to see those results.
I put down 280rwhp/290tq on a mustang dyno with my stock cam. Was guessing that I should be right around 320 with the 216/220 I have now. also been thinking I could hit a high mid-high 13 based on a race I did against a mid-high 12 truck.

Ncravey. This is good for 99-06. 7.4 hardened pushrods, LS6 Springs. is what I used. Springs are about 50-60 bucks IIRC. Got mine from lingenfelter performance.

I'm running this cam in my blown 5.3 with 1.75 RR for a little more lift and it works great.

anybody actually have any dyno numbers for a 5.3 with the 212/218 low lift on a 112*? i've been looking at the 114 for a while now, but was hoping to get a little more low end. also, will the 112 be a little worse on gas mileage?

I have a 6.0 4l80e 3.73 2wd rcsb 2000 silverado. I have seriously been considering a 212/218 custom grind with the high lift specs .558/.563 but on a 114+4 or +2. Would the lower lsa and/or the built in advance help move the powerband lower? Would the ls6 springs still be fine?

Lookin for a low to mid range increase. I do tow a 18ft car hauler a few times a month. I plan on staying the stock 4l80e converter but it does seem to flash around 2500, could be my 4500-5000 lightweight truck also I already have pacesetter lt's.

Saw this linked in another thread, just want to bump this up and see how everyone is still liking it, if not, why? If you changed cams, then to what?
