Uh...I doubt it. A dual exhaust allows the use of smaller pipe for better flow. I made a decent gain going to duals and X.

Made an opp with my exhaust shop tomorrow to get the x-pipe installed and Im heading to the track Friday night. Ill post up the results once I get them.

You have a really nice system Bill, I remember seeing the illusive pics a long time ago (wish I would've right clicked and saved at the time )...equal length pipes meeting into an x, and all this while staying out of the way of the transfer case...very trick

Yeah, Bill's pipes, although they look a bit small do a great job for him. I'm just gonna add a +1 to what everyone else said about the X-pipe and moving it forward!

Thanks but Rick deserves all the fab props for that. He spent hours under there trying to make something to meet my needs.

I deleted everything from my PB account but have them on disc....somewhere, honestly, I'm too lazy to search for them.


Someday I'll open them up to full 3", all I need is another set of mufflers and some pipe.

Just got my truck back for the exhaust shop. I can really tell a differance in the sound. Its a little more mollow. Not quite as much drone as before. Can't really tell a diffarence on the street. The only place they could fit the xpipe was about two feet infront of the mufflers. Eventually I want to redue the exhaust from the headers back and I'll remove the cats and place the x closer to the headers, and use two single in duel out magnaflow 14" with 4 3" tips out the back. We'll see how much it helped tomorrow night.
