Yea but 2 tenths? Its only been a couple of weeks. I figured with the cam, tune and exhaust I would have dropped a couple of 1/10's with the weather. It is hot as hell, but most people were only 2-3 1/10's high. Not 1 sec.

You need a stall to take car of that loss of bottom end. Put the gutted cats on it you will lose a little bit more bottom end but oyu probably wouldnt spin and it would add alot up top. I would be surprised if you trap speed went up a mph or two. You need a tb stall atleast and it will run alot better. Get that thing on the dyno and get the a/f ratio on it. I would suggest finding someone in you r area that has logging software so you can send the tuner a log of what your truck is doing so he can make the right changes. It is EXTREMELY hard for someone to get a mail order tune perfect for a cam. When I drop my 6L into my truck in a month or so I will be driving to San Antonio to get allen to tune my truck cause I know the mailed on wont be as good. Just my .02 take it or leave it.

I'm gonna dyno tune the Z71 this Sat. and hit the track the following week if the #s look good. Otherwise I'm slappin some crunk juice on this bad boy too..
I still think the majority of his problem is a lack of headers and tuning. His MPH is too low for the mods which could very well be mostly the lack of a good header. His ET is always going to suck until he gets a converter and starts launching in 4wd so that is an easy one to figure out. I would try to find a used TT3000 or a Vig.
