wrong o2 sims

Default wrong o2 sims

my 02 5.3 model has the rear o2 sensors with the square ends so i thought the sims off my 97 z/28 would fit because there square to but turns out the truck and the o2 sims i have are both male ends now what a tune?

Do an internet search for O2 simulator theres a company that makes them for our trucks up to 2003 i belive its after thoughs auto that makes them...

I looked into this also a while back when i took my cats off these where the only o2 sims i could find and at the bottom of the page it says it wont work with some 02-07 that have a heated o2 sensor but there making one u can try calling them or get a tune.

why do you need sims??

just delete them altogether, unplug them and tune them out. rear o2's are not necessary. set codes to "no error reported" and be done with it.

You can go buy the spark plug defoulers, buy ones that match the size of your O2 sensors and install them on your rear O2s... What it does is space the sensor out of the exhaust path which inturn drops the temperature reading which is all the rear O2 sensors do....
