Default Would a more aggressive cam help or hurt?

Been thinking a lot about cams lately. I love the way that my TR224 performs, but have heard a lot of talk recently about not killing off the low end by going with a larger cam.

Maybe the TR224 works well for me in a relatively light RCSB truck. But what about a G5X2 or T-REX? I found a dyno comparing a FMS cam, TR224, and G5X2 cam, and the results are actually pretty interesting:

Looks like the TR224 has more low-end grunt, but doesn't make quite the same higher RPM HP as the other two cams.

Since I'm planning on running a 3200-stall converter in the 80, and 4.10 gears, would I be better off with the cam that I have, or stepping up to a larger cam? Would the negative impact on low-end torque be offset enough by the upper-RPM horsepower gain?

If you are going to run a convertor and big gears then you dont have to worry as much about low end. I am going to be running the tr 224 cam in my 6.0 with a 3200 stall and I should have everything done in two weeks and I will tell you how it performs.

I say keep the current camshaft.

More torque will give you faster acceleration.
