Talking Thunder Racing is AWESOME!

Well after seeing the 85 rwhp that the TR220 made I wanted one! So I called Thunder Racing, and told them I previously bought the old man truck cam, and wonder what their return policy was. I told them I havent installed the cam and it has been setting in my buddies Snap On tool box. They said as long as it is in its orginal package and can exchange them just for the price of shipping!!!!!!!!!

So I wont be trying the old man cam, but the almighty TR220 112lsa, The torque curve on that thing is amazing. I am also getting a Nelson tune, 3000 stall, and Dynatech headers along porbley with a rebuild of the trans.

Thanks again to Chris and Jason and all the rest at Thunder!

Yep, they are. I'm very happy with the TR224. Can't wait to see what numbers it helps put down.

I've known Geoff for probably 6 or 7 years now. I bought a nitrous kit from them when Angie was running things out of their home. Good people.

its probably more realistically 30-40 to the wheels , peak

guessometer

1. yank 3000 converter
2. Custom 4in intake. (from lotsofns truck)
3. FMS throttle body. (from lotsofns truck)
4. ASP pulley
5.Thunder Racing 220/220 .551/.551 on 112 camshaft
6.Thunder Racing Dyno tune
HP numbers from then to now are
263.7HP 270.3TQ then
340.1HP 338.1TQ now

With all the mods listed, the TR220 made 55 rwhp alone, when they got done tuning it made another 30 rwhp!
