Would I gain more power switching to a single-exhaust?

I love my true duals & I love the way they sound. But would I have any significant gain in power if I was to have a custom y-pipe built, dynomax free-flowing cats, and a 3" dynomax bullet? Or would I be better off just leaving my duals on my truck?
I really don't think I'll be able to afford a turbo or supercharger on this truck in the next year or so, so it will probably always be N/A. I would love to add a turbo though.

I'd keep the stock cats, they flow plenty for your application. I know that on other engines I've worked with like Dodge Magnum v8's it's true for single exhaust yeilds more power. However on these, I believe it's not the same. I'd keep your duals.
