Default Which would be the best sounding?

I am wanting your all's imput on this. Right now I currently have a 3" Flowmaster cat-back with a 40 series muffler sinle in sinle out. I was wonder if I put my stock cat-back back on and cut the muffler off and replace it with anther flowmaster 40 series and them cut the pie right after the axle would it be louder and sounder deeper. I am looking for any imput on this.

Thanks

I would like to get dual exhaust but it is getting harder to get inspection stickers for having dual exhaust around here. The cops here can even give you a ticket for having to loud of an exhaust.

I would stick with the catback you have. The dumped flowmasters are going to be hella loud in the cab, but if you like loud then it is ok.

hey vwgmc
that's how i have mine now. 40ser. in place of the stock muffler. i have it dumped b/f the axle and it sounds good, nice rummble. when ever i go on trips i connect my stock tail pipe to the end of it, it has a mellow tone. when i get back from overseas i will be replacing the flow with an aero chamber, they sound awsome.
