Default World Warhawk Ls1 heads on 5.3

Does anyone have any experience with these heads?
I'd like to use them on my 5.3 but I'm worried about losing compression or losing performance without utilizing a donkey d*** race cam.
Any info or opinion would be appreciated.

What is the cc on those heads? You will more than likely lose power putting them on since the ls1 heads usually have a higher cc than the 5.3 heads so you will lower the compression.

They are the 72cc. I planned on milling them down, because they have a thicker deck than stock castings...

I think I might just have to wait until I get a 6.0 short block and go from there. I can't seem to find any info on someone running them on a 5.3 and there's probably a reason why.

The truck heads are either 58 or 59 cc's. At 72cc you would have a compression ratio of 8.23 with the LM7 5.3.

Stock 5.3 heads are 61cc. I looked at the specs of those Warhawk heads and they are designed for at least LS1 bore size.

To the OP instead of everyone assuming what 5.3 do you have?

Not all of them are same compression from factory
