Default wondering the diffrence

Just wondering, I'm going to be ordering a cam this week and I'll probably go with the TR220. But I was just wondering if I went with say a hotcam, Would I be better off? The TR cam is 220 in and 220 out. The hotcam I believe is 118 or 119 in and 228 out. Basicly I was just wondering if a cam with more exhaust would mean more power or not? Cam is going in my daily driver and will be on a 112lsa.

I would go with the TR220 on a 114,the GM hotcam would not make as much power and the 114 LS would have better low and midrange power without giving up any topend.

not really worried about the low end. I'm puttin in a 3k stall so I need more mid range and top end. I like the 112 because of the nice lope it has. I'm going to pay $600 for a cam so I wanna know I have on in there. The only part that is going to suck is that I will be riddin with the stock tune for a short time. At least till I get my lap top.
