I think you are OK if you use the blue O-rings...as long as they are the same diameter and thickness. I dissassembled the fuel rail into three parts and THEN removed each piece individually. Be careful of the O-rings at the junction points, as they tend to come out and drop off. Just be sure to lube the O-rings with vaseline so they don't get pinched when they are inserted into the holes. I didn't do any bending of the crossover on the fuel rail, either. It worked just fine without any bending.
