Sweet that makes me very happy. No more damn CR calculators and fifty million different combos to get it right. Looks like I will have the first production set of LS1 heads from DART. They made their own casting and it is sooooo much nicer than factory and flows better out of the mold than 90% of the aftermarket stage 2 heads so I am goign to get some major flow numbers when I get a full competition port job done on them.

I have other people telling me that it wont work now. I guess since oyu have it workign on your truck then it has to work but he had a 00 vette intake and an 01 5.3L and the holes didnt match up. I will be using an 01 truck intake a set of DART cast 5.7 heads which should be the same bolt pattern as the normal ones. Anybody else got any input. Yellowsierra what year model is your truck and what year is the engine?

Sounds cool. As far as I know the main trouble is using a LS1 intake on a truck due to the accesory set up on the truck being in the way of the throttle body. Tons of guys are using 5.3 and 6.0 heads on cars, I dont see it being a problem.

Those DartII heads look real nice...I thought about them for my LQ9 project, but I think that with the 64cc chamber, the compression might be a bit much for me The truck intake should bolt right up though

62cc cahmber to be exact but Im getting them cleaned up and enlarged to 66cc's so with a .060 head gasket and the pistons .012 out of the hole and the -2cc valve reliefs in them it should give me about 10.7:1 compression ratio. Later on I am going to pull the heads off and get a full port and polish job done on them but it is going to take very last penny just to get the heads the way they come and the rest of the stuff.
