Default Will the tb fit?

Im thinking of putting a set of DART LS1 heads on my truck and a corvette intake and I have heard that the tb wont clear the water pump. Is that true? Is there anything that can be done to make it work besides going to all f-body accessories or getting an electric water pump and doing the efans cause I just don’t have that in the budget the engine is costing enough as it is.

From what I've read, the Corvette intake is about 3" shorter than the truck intake, and from a quick peek under my hood it looks like there might be clearance issues with both upper coolant pipe on the water pump and the upper serp belt idler pulley (*edit* as well as the clutch fan...forgot about that, I have efans) . Unfortuneately I don't have a definitive answer for you though, just a guess.

Thanks man Im trying to figure out a different route right now if all else fails I will buy the 05 setup and and elctric waterpump that has a slight offset for the coolant hose.

Actually I think that would push the throttle body further into the idler pulley

Pretty sure that I originally found this pic on this site so it's probably one of our member's engine. He has the Fast intake but you get the idea. It doesn't look like the upper rad hose has been installed yet in this pic...
