Default Will Slicks Break my Rearend?

I have pretty much a stock rear end... except for 4.10's..... And im not making that much power but still a hard time getting traction sometimes...... If I had some 26x10.5x16 would i have to worry about the rearend snapping...

i don't think so. i think you'll be fine. i am probably pushing more power than you and i am not worried about mine breaking when i get slicks. but as with anything else, it never hurts to beef it up with a stronger posi.

Are you running a stock G80 locker? That is the weak point in our rearends. Even with that said, since you are not running nitrous or a converter, I dont think you are putting down enough power out of the hole to grenade it.

yeah I just dont want to drop 500 on a posi and another 300 to get someone to put it in..

I think I would rather take my chances.... I just wanted to know if it was definently going to snap... thanks for the reply
