Will I pass smog w/o the cats?

Default Will I pass smog w/o the cats?

If i remove my cats, will i still pass smog? Also, is there much difference in exhaust note w/o the cats?

Some cars have, but its rare. I know Diesels pass without cats though.

Your exhaust will be louder and more raspy/metallic sounding without catalytics. Not always a good thing. It really depends on how your muffler itself sounds more than anything.
