Default will I need to upgrade my fuel system?

I have a LQ9 6.0 11.1 compression with Patriot stage 2 ls6 heads, comp cams 230/236 .591/.601 110lsa with all the trimings. I have 42# injectors, Pace setter long tubes, eletric fans, 34 raditor. All running through a 4L80E with a 3500 Vig stall and transgo shift kit. My concern is my fuel pump. Will the stock fuel pump on my 02 work or do I need to upgrade? If so to what, and where do I get it?

You should be fine. I ran my 5.3 on the stock 175K mile stuff with full bolt ons 125 wet shot and comp 222/224 112lsa since you arent spraying I think it will be just fine. Just remember it doesnt hurt to be rich but it does to be lean. You can get an inline pump and a really nice harness to wire it up with from Nelson Performance for 180 or so and you wont ever have to wrry about low fp unless it goes out of course. Thats what Im going to be running on my new motor. Thats quite a large cam for the a 364 cube engine in a heavy truck but you got the stall for it. Is your truck a DD? Where in TX are you located at? Sounds like a stout setup for sure

Id rip out the stock pump. Might as well throw in a better pump.

Id get the Holley or Walbro in-tank 255lph. The Holleys just as good and cheaper to boot.

Someone said that Holley uses walbro pumps and slaps their name on it cant remember who though. I like the inline design cause if it goes out you can still drive without it just no WOT runs but if the intank goes out ur screwed just my opinion.

I dont like the fact of one pump pulling through the in-tank. Im replacing my in-tank when that "special" time comes!

I personally like the inline because when you go WOT its there when you need it, and if you dont, the regular stock pump is pretty reliable.
