Might as well start off with the best just pay for return shipping for a re-tune.

It would actually be one of my first choices for $500. I used to think it was worthless on a stock truck but after having my new truck tuned bone stock I was VERY pleased. The difference in daily driving and passing on the freeway was fully worth it. I didn't even get a full on tune either. Mine was a quick, "hey, change my shift points before dinner foo!" LOL

Good choice !!! You will like it.
When my '04 was stock it really woke up with a Nelson tune. Ran low 15's, then I replaced just the muffler with a magnaflow, don't really need a whole catback, and put an aftermarket intake and ran high 14's.

go to e-bay get you some e-fans call summit and get you a set of pacesetters.then decide just how far you are going to go with the mods, make your own cai with 4" drain pipe fromm home depot then paint to match and get a k&n cone filter to fit a 4" pipe,

I wouldn't bother with the afetrmarket intake. Maybe just a replacement panel filter, like K&N, or Green. Just make some 2 or 3 inch holes in your stock airbox. I also remover the deflector between the rad support and the rad on the pass side. You can also remove you pass side headlight for a true ram air effect at the track. It wirks, and only takes about 2 minuites to do.
