Iv'e got a 2001 ECSB 5.3 and I have a list made out of things I want to do to the truck and I would really like to get into 12's with it. Tell me if yall think this will do it. Cold air intake, underdrive pulley, custom tune, 160 T-stat, headers, ported throttle body, cam, electric fans, shift kit, and a 3000 convertor. Please give my your opinions.

 

Honestly, I seriously doubt it. Where are you at in the big Red Stick? I'm off O'neal. P.M. me, we'll meet up and get it there I'm attempting that also, but for my heavy *** truck its gona take at least 100 shot of happy gas.

 

Look at my mods , good for a 13.8 on a cold day. I dont think yer list is ready for 12s. Sorry, it may be close tho?

You should make it into the 13's with what you mentioned, to get in the 12's with a EC you are going to need either FI or Nitrous. Or one hell of a camed and built stroker.

 

Spray a 200 shot, That should get er there

 

I really don't want to use nitrous. Does anyone know what a stock vette runs not a Z06 cause I would at least like to keep up with my pops vette.

 

I think the C5's are low 13's, but not 100%

 

i am another one that don't think you will get there with that list. add nitrous and you should do it.
