Default Wideband bung location

I am in the process of installing new exhaust and was wondering where to install the Wide band bung for the sensor? I have a X pipe after the headers. There are no cats anymore and the x pipe is on the passenger side of the truck. Is there a better place for it or will that work? Thanks!

You want it in the driver side, on a ORY pipe I used the place where the rear 02 would go, since I had the rears turned off via a tune...

Why would you want it on only one side and not both? You would think you would want to read off of both like on a X pipe or something. Just curious as to why just the driver side. Thanks.

MISPRINT You mean off each collector??? Other wise you be rocking 8 of them bitches

Becuase number 7 cyl is the one that always goes BOOM.. And number 7 is on the driver side.. If both banks are operating the same the AFR's from both banks should be close...

You can't tune individual banks so you really don't need both sides. Although I guess it could tell you if you have a leak on one side.

I just added another bung on my drivers side collector for ease of wiring.

Hmmm, good point...I was thinking that the best place would be somewhere that you could read both banks also, like smack dab in the middle of the x-pipe if that's possible. I guess that the driver's side makes sense now though...

I thought you would want to take readings from both sides, the whole thing compared to just one side. I guess that if that number 7 is a problem it does make sense to take readings from that side.

That would be optimal, but I'm not sure how many wideband can run 2 different sensors so you may be stuck with buying 2 different setups which gets expensive.
