I have the Predator set up to go to stock timing and fuel at WOT. Yes I know, no fun w/o the nitrous but its gunga safe. No KR at any throttle positions or on the 50 shot - and I use only 93 oct. I have not even been through a bottle yet, but I trust it will continue to be very safe.

I have the predator set up (James' custom tune) to add some timing at part throttle and lean it up a bit, just for responsive part throttle driving - and at WOT it is basically stock for safe nitrous use (might use 75 shot in future) - and the shifts are quick all the time.

Yeah I'd drop your timing down and maybe get some TR6's - that should solve the detonation

If it sounds like it's making pop corn under the hood that would be detonation. A couple degrees of kr is nothing to worry about but 0 is better. 24* timing, tr6 plugs gapped at .050", and make sure you have enough fuel w/ the juice.

yea..i know what detonation sounds like but my exhaust is to loud to hear under the hood...i think i am gonna take timing back and get different plugs plus i have access to 101 octane so i think ill be ok, hopefully..
