Default Who'll do an engine swap?

Have an 04' GMC Sierra 5.3l getting up in km's. Thinkin' about swapping it for a 6.2l Escalade or LS6 Vette engine (TBD).
Where would be a reputable place to have it swapped in the Barrie or Toronto Ontario area.

Gary.

swapping a 6.2L into your truck is going to be more involved than just swapping the motor in plug, and play... the LS6 will swap in easy though.

What do you mean by more involved than the LS6. After all, I really want the torque of the 6.2

LS6 has a 24x reluctor wheel

6.2L has a 58x reluctor wheel

different crank sensors

different computers and harnesses

different sensors and the cam sensor is on the front of the motor on the 6.2L rather than the rear like the LS1, LS6

A buddy told me that Lingenfelter has a "conversion box" for the reluctor wheel issue?

...and I believe that the knock sensors are on the side of the block as opposed to in the oil valley like the older GENIII's, so you would have to extend the wires (no biggie really). The reluctor wheel issues should be able to be taken care of by a Lingenfelter converter box and harness, and the cam sensor I supposed you'd have to extend the wires also. I think Speartech might make some plug and play harnesses, but I'm not sure...
