ya but i would never buy a new supercharger, not worth all that money. i'm just getting a once in a lifetime deal on one and couldnt pass it up. it just happend to be a whipple thats all.
btw, whipple does have the water injection kit dont they? isnt that like an intercooler

I'm sure before long you'll see them out there.

i think traction is a HUGE in street racing. my buddy and i always race our silverados on the street. pretti much its just a traction game, whoever catches first wins <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ....ofcourse that will change now that i no longer do the one wheel peel

i get spanked by a certain lightning by right at a second in the 1/4 every time, but, it isn't stock. the slow.8's just don't have the torque to propel these lead weights down the track. the 6/0 will be in very soon now, 4.8 popped! oops! little too much.

You will have the HUGE traction problem with the whipple and 4.10s on the 18s.

Thunder: How much do you and your truck weigh? What year(Gen 1 or Gen 2) is the Lightning?
If it's a Gen 2(2001, 02, or 03) and he knows how to launch it, I think you'll have your hands full <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> .
