i tried taken the damn thing off my truck today because of gas prices , and during the install of factory tune, it says i have a time out error and some other crap. at first the truck would not start. it took me about 6 trys to get the performance tune to go back on. truck finally started. but damn, i want to step up to something else, so how do i get this off?

 

the performance tune should be better for gas mileage as it is leaner and has more timing

 

Pull the onstar fuse, no cellular phone near by and push parking brake.

 

well, i am gonna step up to edit here soon also, so that is another reason i was taking it off. no cell phone nearby and the ebrake was pushed in. it just won't install my factory tune back on. hmmm, i know some other people had this problem way back when. thanks for the info.

 

sorry to hear that it is a pos. i had to email them and get them to send me a file to load in mine and then put the stock tune back in.

 

yea, i knew you would chime in. lol. i was doing a countdown waiting on you lance. well, i shot them an email about two things. one to blast them for false advertisment on the tq reduction and about correcting the speedo for a gear change. and two, how the hell do i go back stock. we'll see if i get a response. i still stand behind the product as a medium grade tuner. but then again, with so many people getting edit and talking about how good it is, my opinion will probably soon change.
