You can also have merge collectors put on if you like, but the price is 200 more.. So thats about 1065 for headers if you use the prices off there site. I have talked to them and they are working on getting the pricing down some for us truck guys..
... I will also be buying a set if they do. I damn sure hope so. Damn I wish I was a lil closer so they could use my truck for mock up.. I will really hate it if i have to switch to a diff brand header.. I seriously love the way these thing fit.. As far as the joint connection, I could give a **** less. like I hve said in the past, stainless doesnt get stuck together like mild steel does...
Also GMCtrk, that was headers only...

I like merge collectors...I wonder if SW would weld in merge collectors if asked? I know that they'll weld on any size collector that you want, just not sure if they'll do any style collector...

I don't mind the slip fit either, as long as you use the supplied band clamps, you should be good to go, since the pipes won't be bent and crimped together, and as you mentioned, they're stainless. I'll find out whenever I finally pay off my FLT 65E.
Best thing, my pipe connections don't leak

But, once the headers are developed, you'd probably have more clearance than a truck without a body lift.
*EDIT* I wonder how the steering shaft angle would be affected...
