I think what I'll end up doing is finding someone to make a bolt-on extension bracket for my Hotchkis rear lower control arm (trailing arm) mount. This would allow for lowering the angle of the trailing arm (it tilts upward front to rear, needs to be more level to the ground) as well as adjusting the length. If I can get a bracket fabricated that has a variety of mounting holes, and effectively lengthen the trailing arm, I can rotate the axle downward and fix this issue.
