graygmc, this pic?
I would buy one of those in a heartbeat if GM was smart enough to build them here. I've been considering getting a 1999, there are some nice ones out there if you know where to look.

Yeah a guy that owns-works at HUNTERS CUSTOM AUTO here in nashville has one, but it isnt even close to stock. I dont know the facts ,but I think he got his from mexico. It was on the cover of some magazine like truckin or street trucks not to long ago. It has a custom orange-white designed paint job (mabey other colors but thats all I can rem.) lowerd on some 20'' billet specialties. It is a very clean ride, I would consider gettting one when they come out. But as far as having one now... I think you need to have a little more cash <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" /> to accually git one.

they do have those in mexico and it would be awesome to have the only 2 door 2000+ tahoe in northern cali but you'd have to be able to purchase one with cash because I doubt you could finance one. There is a lot of trucks up here driving on mexican plates so I don't think it would be too hard to get one up here if you have the money. By the way that one that was in truckin was supposedly chopped suburban but I guess it was the trick that I would like to be able to pull. Plus they have those secret 400ci engines down there j/k. Mexico also gets an suv based on the ram that we never saw.

They don't make a new body 2 door. The last 2 dr was an old body 1999. There was a custom truck builder out in Cali that chopped a new body one (2000+) and made a 2 dr out of it, but it was not a factory job. Now if your talking 99 and before, they also don't have out LS1 Based engines.

Go to http://www.autotrader.com and after you enter your zip code, use the Advance Search and you can specifically select to search for 2-doors. It works pretty good.

I know the chopped suburban your talking about. This a real 2 door tahoe though. Only reason I know this,is for the fact of going to hunters often and talking about it with the guy that owns it. He wouldnt say a price, but I would guess around 35-40??? Thats not including all the $$ he has into it, but they are really nice rides.
