yea its not bluish and it doesnt linger, this is probably the 3rd or 4th time Ive noticed it, I guess mines sporadic. I hate checking for dents on the walk around anymore...moved up here to the smallest state a month ago. 4 new dents already

Sounds like steam to me. You know when you have a cold drink how it sweats on the outside? That's cause the hot air is cooling against the glass, and cold air can't hold as much moisture as hot air. The same thing happens to your exhaust, except the hot side is inside rather than outside. When you shut your truck off, the piping starts to cool, and as the hot air inside begins to cool it "sweats" the moisture off onto the inside of the exhaust. When you start the truck back up, it heats back up and becomes steam. Nothing to worry about....it's normal. Look at the back of your muffler near the bottom. There's a little seep hole there to drain excess water that builds up in the exhaust system.

white smoke ain't smoke. that's steam from hot water. If it's more than just a small amount at start up you have a problem. Time to keep a close watch on the temp gauge and coolant tank.
