personally all i hear about the procharger is problems. it makes more power but expect less reliability. the reason i think u hear negative stuff on the whipple is because it doesnt have an intercooler and they want more boost. besides that the whipple is cheaper and more reliable. plus u could add a 50shot if u wanted

If you are going to stay around stock and have good drivability, I would say a whipple or radix. Good low end power and you don't need a larger converter to get into boost.
However, if you are going for all out power go with a D-1SC. People will say a P-1SC will do everything you need but, with a D-1 you can have a larger pulley with the same amount of boost. This equals more belt wrap around the pulley, which means less slip. For a extra 300 bucks you can't beat it.

um, no. what problems do you hear about anyway? the plumbing sucks, that's it. the rest of ATI's kit is great. and the new (radix) is indeed intercooled and is definately NOT cheaper. look again.

i still like the twin screw idea for his application.

anyone have any documented IAT's on the RADIX? i would like to see a comparo.

I vote for the radix. I gives you so much power of idel its sick. Prochargers are nice if you get a d1 or bigger. The pumps and brackets are junk from what i hear (i am good friends with a respected mustang builder/ATI distributor and that is what he told me). So just get the radix.

Does anyone have any dyno results on a mostly stock truck with a whipple?
