DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT WOULD CAUSE THE WHIPPLE LIGHT TO START FLASHING AT WOT,3RD GEAR???I KNOW A SOLID LIGHT MEANS A LEAN CONDITION,BUT THIS IS FLASHING.IT STOPS FLASHING WHEN I BACK OFF THE GAS,BUT WILL START BACK FLASHING AGAIN AT WOT.

 

first off, i dunno jack about what could be wrong with the whipple. and second....SWEET! what did it cost ya, retail/install? that might be my next mod, just doin my homework.

 

I GOT IT FROM WWW.SUPERCHARGERSONLINE.COM FOR $3750.00 INCLUDING SHIPPING.A FRIEND OF MINE INSTALLED IT.TOOK ABOUT 13 HOURS,BUT WE TOOK OUR SWEET *** TIME.DIDNT WANT TO F ANYTHING UP.COULD BE DONE IN 8-10 HOURS.

 

Did you look in the instructions for the light codes? I think you can tell whats going on if you read the codes correctly. You should call Whipple directly. They should be able to help you work out your problems. If you have any other mods, be cautious in telling them. They like to put the blame on your "headers" or other stuff like that. They say their system is made for a stock vehicle and hasn't been tested with any other mods...

 

I DONT THINK ITS FLASHING A CODE,IT JUST FLASHES,DIDNT NOTICE ANY PAUSES BETWEEN FLASHES,BUT ITS HARD TO TELL AT 95-100 PLUS MPH.I EMAILED WHIPPLE TECH STEPHEN,WAITING FOR A RESPONSE.I MIGHT GET SOMEONE TO RIDE WITH ME THAT CAN WATCH THE LIGHT AND COUNT THE FLASHES WHILE I DRIVE TO SEE IF ITS ACTUALLY A CODE OR NOT.
