Default whipple injectors dissmantle?

As you guys might remember, i want to put an intercooler on my whipple.
Everyone who owns a whipple knows there is no room for branching off the supercharger to route to an intercooler. so here are 2 ?s for ya.

And can the entire whipple injectors with the rail be taken out?

could i mount them on a custom built intake piece to replace the whipple intake?

here is a link to my website, i posted a big picture of my whipple intake. it might help you understand what i want to do.

red area is the whipple fuel rail, and the light blue area is where the injectors install into the intake.

Whipple makes a intercooler for our tucks. Didnt know if you knew that or not. What a lot of us have done including my self is completely remove the whipple injectors and computer; we then use a set of larger injectors on the factory rail to compensate for the loss of fuel. Seemed to work well for me. Looks like you have the electonic by pass valve though, dont know how that will work. You might want to do a little research.

Short answer yes. I know that a few people have either simply disconnected the aux injectors or made a custom block off plate. You will need to make up the difference w/ the stock injector or upgrade them. The re-programming should let you get rid of the piggy-back computer also.

If I remember correctly, BigTex and Parish8 are the 1st two that come to mind. I'm sure you'll hear from them also.

I pulled off the aux injectors, and using the 4 bolt holes, I just buttoned down an aluminum plate to cover the 2 large holes where the injectors went. I was able to pull off every bit of the whipple electronics and wires, except I resued one sevtion of the harness to lengthen the throttle sensor.

I didn't think the intercooler was ready yet either.

parish, what size injectors do you recommend? I would like somthing that just plugs right in with the least amount or no modification to the fuel rail or harness.

Also, doesnt the whipple computer set off its blinking light when you have everything dissconected?

I think most people will tell you that your choices are limited when it comes to drop in replacements and will suggest calling RC Engineering to get the drop in replacements. I went with the 8.1 marine injectors from LPE.
