Question Whipp'd 5.3; cam/head opinions please

I'm running a 7# Whipple boost on a stock 5.3 ('04). It's time for more power. I'd like to put out min. 400rwhp. Due to the blower I'm thinking about either a stock LS6 cam and Heads because I can afford to lose compression OR GMPP #88958665 Heads w/65cc and maintain 10.5:1 w/88958606 Cam 239/251 570/570 106.5.
It's my DD, too.
Thx!

talk to moregrip. he's doing heads/cam on his radix 6.0L. I think he found a good price on a kick *** combo.

The "forum search" was working today and I found alot of info about the LS6 Heads/Cam here. Seems to be pretty played-out already.

But, I'm not having much luck finding info about a good set up for the s/c'd 5.3.
It looks like doing the top end, I'll be way overshooting my target of 400rwhp

So, what would optimize the blower?

If you are in Mass, PM Slowhawk. He's at Mike Dez Racing in Seakonk(sp). The word on the street is that he is the man for picking a cam and for tuning. I plan to make the 2hr trip to see him soon.

I run a 62cc chamber and Comp 212/218 .558/.563 115lsa+2
I'm running about 9.0:1 compression. You could easily do 9.5:1 compression on 12psi and get better results. I maxed out my timing on 6psi at 23* Any higher shows no gains. hence you can go with higher compression and be okay.

Easy 400rwhp on 6psi.
