Funny thing is that many FAQ's on TC manufacturers webpages say that mileage isn't affected much if at all.

My highway mileage is definitely worse than my "backroad" mileage.

Maxrebel: It's extremely hilly in my area, so that really sucks down the gas. There is hardly any straight away longer than 1/4 mile, where I can just cruise along lightly at a nice 35-45mph.

I used to get very respectable mileage until I started messing with cams. Either that, or it seems after a certain point, you can not tap into lost efficiency (from restrictive exhaust or intakes) to get power... it has to come from fuel useage... (a little theory of mine at least).

My truck makes lots of torque low in the range, and it's also very quick to jump down into single digit instant-mileage readings.

Yes, a blower, cam, and 4.10's have ensured I see '5' and '3' on a regular basis on the DIC for instant mileage.

Heh, I have no complaints with my lil' 4.8. I can roast the tires and eat rice and still push 20+ mpg.

You might also check all your tires to assure they are all reading the same pressure. Have you tried washing and waxing that **** too?

I'm with marc_w here...our setups are almost identical and I see just about EXACTLY the same mileage as his, if I'm REALLY lucky I'll see 300 miles from a tank of gas

Keep your foot out of it and gas mileage will return.
