Default Where should the money go ?

I just talked to the guys at at straightlineperformance.com and suggest i should buy a 6.0 and turn it into a stroker motor, well im broke as hell considering a just put my fullsize on the frame on 22's , but now i wanna go fast , ive got the 4.8l in mine with like 60000 on it , should i stick with 4.8 and build it up , or do some kind of ls1 swap or ls2 swap , i dont have a budget in mind yet but id like to run in the 12.00s if i was to spend the money and the truck just got done getting bagged so i got all winter to save and spend money on the motor build just gotta figure out where my money would be better spent anyones help would be awesome

If you want 12's then you're going to have to ditch the 22's (at least on the track) and do some serious modding. Not to mention that bagging adds a bit of weight, no?

BTW welcome to pt.net...and good luck!

Yea the 6 liter with some sort of forced induction or a whole heep of spray. You will need to ditch the big tires and wheels at the track.

My advice would be to chose a route, stick to it and save.
