where to get 918s?

i would rather buy them from sponsor or member. best price i could find was on ebay though $180 shipped.

How often are these springs supposed to be replaced on a daily driver? Or should they last several years?

We're out of the 918's today, but do have the PAC 1218 spring in stock. They are a direct replacement for the 918's. PAC actually used to make the 918's for Comp before Comp started getting them from Mexico. These are top notch springs with NO history of breakage too. Let me know if I can get you a set. They are the same price as the 918's!
