I did!!!! Hope I get this problem fixed. Should have just left well enough alone and stayed with the stock injectors... I just wanted to be on the safe side because I pull some long steep grades, 8% and some steeper. Im sure its just a fuel thing since thats all I touched.

I looked at your logs and everything looks fine. I'm waiting on a new pcm because when i put the IC on it ran way lean. O2's were around 840. So Allen is fixing that as we speek or type.

Thats what I thought, my logs look OK but The truck just doesnt pull anymore. It just feels flat when I put my foot in it. I used to really feel the "rush" when the boost came on, now if Im not looking at the boost gauge I couldn't tell the difference of boost or no boost!!

What were your o2's prior to the IC??

How about your timing?

No thanking me mate

Blackbird actually had the idea. He posts in the FI section and is a buddy of mine.

So at this point did you already run the vacume line from the wastegate to the manifold? If you have not down that then first things first I would relocate it AND you need to pull your plugs and take a look at them. If you have access to a compression tester I would do a comp. test also just for the piece of mind. Anytime I think something might have been hurt I do that.

When I first talked to Jerry he was having a similar problem and after relocating the line from the wastegate to the manifold it was fixed and he had power again. The problem is like he stated above. The wastegate is seeing a higher boost than what you are seeing at the motor AFTER the IC. The wastegate then opens early and bleeds off pressure to maintain 5psi so after your IC you might only be seeing 3psi and coupleed with a pig rich tune you probably wont see any HP at all, especially at 15deg of timing.

Ohh and even 1 or 2 deg of timing can make a world of difference in feel.. At 20deg and 12psi I could spin all 4 tires somewhat, at 19 no spin at all.

If you have already done this and it is still falling on it's face then let us know.

Ok, Just for clearification on my set up this is what I have. I have a manual boost controller. I get my vaccuum ref from the turbo the way it came with the kit. I run a 3 #spring so I can run low boost or high, 5 psi. I have a boost gauge that is tapped into the FP vaccuum line at the manifold. When I added the IC I saw the drop in pressure on my gauge, almost 2 PSI. So I turned up the boost at the controller and I now have 5psi again at the manifold.

As far as hurting anything. When I replaced the injectors with the 43 lb ones I changed the PCM at the same time. At this time it didnt run so good. So I scanned it and sent the info to Allen and he did another PCM for me. I installed that one and this is where I am now. The scans I attached are from the PCM I have now. I sent Allen these same scans and he said he is going to up my timing a little but he said 950 mv is a good place for me because I do a lot of heavy towing. This still seems a bit rich to me.

Thanks for the input. Think when I get this PCM I making a trip to Synergy and get it wideband road tested to rule out fuel.

FL8Z71 I see your from Sac. I assume you race out at Excelsior? I ran Super street ot there last year in my Camaro. Ran a few times this year on my Gixxer 1000.

Damn, I didn't even see you are from Vacaville. LOL You sound an aweful lot like someone I know that use to post on Norcal and had a healthy dislike for me. Hahaha

I was born and raised in Farifield and lived in Vaca for awhile too. I still work in Fairfield. LOL

I'd have Rick take a look at it when you get a chance. We have learned a lot on my truck and he should be able to fix any problems you might be having.

I'm brain stumped at the moment at what your problem might be then. I didn't realize you turned the boost up after the IC.
