Question Where is the brake light wire at???????? 2 step hookup

Is this wire present in the engine bay area where I can get to it or is it inside the cab?? It got dark on me today and I can't get into the garage rite this moment.. I am hooking up a 2 step and need to find that wire, for a activation hot( thats the way I am doing it) Other wise I could just run it to a hot with a switch.. If you have any info or even a schematic where they or it is located please post up thanks

I knew the switch is in there, but does that wire run out into the engine bay, around the fuse box...

Try pin E7 on connector C1 of the underhood electrical center- light blue wire.
