Default Whats wrong with my truck?

I drove my buddy's {redpepperz} wife's car today and loved it. Infact I wanted to cry when I had to get out of it. The problem is when I got into mine my truck felt like a turd. So I got on the highway and hit the 150 shot and it still didnt do a whole lot for me. It just didn't feel as fast. I sold one of my old race chassis so I have $1500 to spend on the truck. I need some ideas on how to spend it on my truck. Oh yeah her car is a 2001 ZO6 with cam, corsa, and a 100 shot.

probably nothing, look at what your trying to compare, a Z06 to a truck, thats like apples to watermellons. But hey if you think somethings really wrong with your ride, sell it and get a Z06 then youll be happy every time you hit the go pedal.

I have an idea for you. Use the $1500 to buy a Geo or a Festiva. Drive it 6 days a week and then on the 7th drive your truck and spray it all day long. You'll appreciate the truck guranteed. I know this 'cause I recently started a new job which requires about 120mi per day roundtrip so I bought a Ford Aspire for gas mileage and to keep miles off my truck. It is rated at 63 HP so driving it to work everyday and then getting in my truck with 380 at the wheels is a definite thrill when the weekend comes!! Before buying the car I was getting disappointed w/ the truck.

Seriously maybe you could shop for a used blower? That combined with the juice should give you some serious power.

I know my truck doesnt compare to that Z06. It was ment to be funny. That car was a badass ride though. It really sat you back into the seat. I still dont know what to buy. I want to start on a new motor for this thing. I have 85k on it and run about 3k a month, so it will have 100k before it i know it.

It's called power to weight ratio. Why do you think they have the built in delay on the christmas tree. I love seeing a station wagon beat a vette in the 1/4th mile.
